ENDOCUTTER  - ETHICON® LAPAROSCOPIC

You can’t control everything in life, but surgeons can now have definitive control of their outcomes using the Echelon Flex™ Endopath® stapler, the first powered endocutter with haptic feedback. When using endoscopic stapling devices in laparoscopic surgical procedures, stability is critical to the safe and effective use of the device.

Haptic Feedback - Magical

Laparoscopic procedures need stapling devices to operate smoothly and consistently so as to reduce inadvertent movement of the tip during firing. Adding haptic feedback technology to the device permits surgeons to truly feel the tissue and orient the staple where needed. The result is less trauma to the targeted area and surrounding vital organs.

One Handed Operation

Effortless firing, natural articulation and ergonomic handle design enables one-handed use, which lets the surgeon focus less on the instrument and more on the patient/procedure.

Power = Performance

This powered endocutter with haptic feedback provides natural articulation to improve precision compared to traditional lever-based, two-handed endocutters. An increased articulation angle helps access transection sites that are difficult to reach, and the ability to grasp, hold and manipulate tissue without the use of a second device.
