NIKON | PROFESSIONAL UNDERWATER CAMERA

Imagine pulling on a wet suit and being subjected to cold, darkness, current flows wanting to push you everywhere except where you need to be, and looming nitrogen narcosis,… and you still have only one chance to get the perfect shot. The Nikon Aquatica delivers performance to achieve the best quality images in in even the most difficult circumstances.

Developed with, and for the world’s leading underwater photographers (David Dubilet of National Geographic, Chris Newbert and many others), the Aquatica simplifies shot set up allowing  users to access all camera functions. A simple ergonomic fingertip control pad employs magnetic reed switching to access and control all camera functions without so much as a hole transpiercing the housing.  Aerospace tolerances ensure waterproofness to over 600 foot depths (tested).

The Aquatica is the first underwater camera to offer full in virewfinder LCD display showing all camera settings for rapid shot set up. Eight ounce (225 gr) negative buoyancy in seawater provides perfect balance and control. Ergo grip handles and secondary manual controls provide the professional with the right feel to get the job done.
